2009 Spring Fundraiser February 15, 2009

It’s that time of year again….we’re ready to start our crafty fundraising  efforts!  Last year’s event was a great success and we were so happy to have made a contribution to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.   In keeping with the spirit of aiding those organizations who greatly impact the lives of our children and so many others, we’ve selected Every Body Counts Physical Therapy as the focus of our 2009 Fundraiser. EBC Physical Therapy is a full service Outpatient Clinic specializing in integrating Hippotherapy into treatment plans.  Additionally, EBC offers Theraputic Riding lessons and the Healing Touch technique as part of their integrated approach to patient care.

Imagine having an entire day to devote to all of those craft projects that you just can’t seem to get around to finishing. This very special fundraising event will be the perfect opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your craft of choice, and maybe even add some projects to your “Completed” pile! Whether your creative passions lie in scrapbooking, paper crafts, beading, sewing, knitting, etc. this will be the perfect place for you to help out a great cause, meet some new people, and get out of the house for an entire day.

Pack up your unfinished projects, idea books, materials, supplies, etc. and we’ll provide you with plenty of space to spread out and create for the day. Also included in the cost of admission is a delicious continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, deli-style lunch, goody bags and prizes. You will also have an opportunity to purchase additional tickets to participate in a silent auction, with the chance to win some really great crafty prizes!

Celebrating Erin April 17, 2008

What a fabulous time we had hosting our 2nd Crafting for a Cure Fundraiser this past weekend! A whopping $1,683 was raised and we couldn’t be more proud!  We had a really great group of ladies join us for a day filled with crafting, food, fun and tons of charity! In addition to the usual crew of paper loving scrapbookers, we were happy to welcome some new knitting, quilting, and sewing friends. Our raffle table was a huge hit and it was so nice to see the raffle bags fill up with tickets throughout the day. Some of our lovely friends even stopped by for a visit and to stock up on raffle tickets! Our hearts are so full right now and we want to thank everyone 1,683 times for helping to support our cause, and especially for helping us honor Miss Erin!

Crafty Donations March 6, 2008

Looking for a way to help make our event a huge success? We are currently accepting crafty donations to be included in our raffle. Last year’s table was a mega hit and we were so honored to have received so many amazing handmade quilts, scarves, cards, earrings, as well as a multitude of gorgeous items from our home business consultants. In the coming weeks, we will be adding a slideshow teaser to showcase our raffle items so please stay tuned! Raffle tickets will be available during our event, and we encourage our family, friends, and community to swing by for a bit, even if the thought of spending an entire day crafting is the furthest thing from bliss, just to say hi and check out our raffle goods.

We’re Back and Ready to Craft! January 28, 2008

2008 is well under way and we are finally ready to announce our next Crafting for a Cure Charity Event! Last year’s event was a great success and we were so happy to have made a contribution to the March of Dimes’ efforts. This year’s Spring Fundraiser will benefit the fine folks at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of our little Miss Erin…an amazing 2 year old sweetheart who is personally affected by CF. We will be sharing her story with you shortly and hope that you’ll be able to join us in our efforts to give a little back to the Foundation who is working tirelessly to give so much to her and others affected by CF. Our creative wheels are turning again! October 18, 2007

Hello all and many apologies for such a lag in entries! We are beginning to work out the details for our next Crafting For a Cure event and will be sending out Save the Date reminders in the next month or so. We are considering the last weekend in January as our time, hopefully the same fabulous church as our location, and our charity will be the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We are very much looking forward to coming together with our friends and neighbors for this amazing cause and we hope to have another great, successful day! Stay tuned!
