2008 is well under way and we are finally ready to announce our next Crafting for a Cure Charity Event! Last year’s event was a great success and we were so happy to have made a contribution to the March of Dimes’ efforts. This year’s Spring Fundraiser will benefit the fine folks at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of our little Miss Erin…an amazing 2 year old sweetheart who is personally affected by CF. We will be sharing her story with you shortly and hope that you’ll be able to join us in our efforts to give a little back to the Foundation who is working tirelessly to give so much to her and others affected by CF. Imagine having an entire day to devote to all of those craft projects that you just can’t seem to get around to finishing. This very special fundraising event will be the perfect opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your craft of choice, and maybe even add some projects to your “Completed” pile! Whether your creative passions lie in scrapbooking, paper crafts, beading, sewing, knitting, etc. this will be the perfect place for you to help out a great cause, meet some new people, and get out of the house for an entire day.
Pack up your unfinished projects, idea books, materials, supplies, etc. and we’ll provide you with plenty of space to spread out and create for the day. Also included in the cost of admission is a delicious continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, deli-style lunch, goody bags and prizes. You will also have an opportunity to purchase additional tickets to participate in a silent auction, with the chance to win some really great crafty prizes!
The cost of admission is fully tax deductible and all proceeds from this event will be going directly to the fine folks at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
