With a little over a week to go until our very exciting 1st fundraiser, we thought we would take a few moments to give you all a sneak preview of things to come! We were beyond excited to land the services of a very talented local chef, Tony C., who has generously donated his time and expertise for our event. For breakfast you can expect a lovely continental spread featuring danishes, croissants, biscuits, bagels and, of course, plenty of toppings. You will gladly want to take a break from your crafting activities to partake in his mouth-watering lunch as well! The menu consists of delicious Crepe Quiche Loraine with Petit Salad, Blue Bayou Salad, and scrumptious California Chicken Salad Wraps.
We will be serving coffee, teas, soda and water throughout the day, and we will have snack stations set up to help keep your energy levels high during the afternoon. Many thanks to all of our friends who have generously offered to bring various baked goods, veggie trays and chips. We have also received several fantastic donations that will be used as our silent auction items. Our friends and family really came through for us and whipped out some gorgeous homemade items and we can’t thank them enough! You’ll have an opportunity to win a beautiful handwoven basket, a funky-fun knit scarft, a gorgeous framed Mother’s Day scrapbook layout, an adorable Winnie the Pooh mini quilt, and many other great items! Your goody bags will contain 2 free tickets, and you will have the opportunity to buy additional tickets throughout the event. In addition to several handmade items, we will have some fun items from Creative Memories, Big Yellow Box, Avon, Usborne Books, and others!
